You load once in Calhoun, GA and don't touch a box again until you're back. That's the whole pitch. No dock work, no hand-unload headaches, just drive, drop, and get home every week for your reset.

The Numbers

• $1,200 to $1,400 average weekly pay
• $0.56 to $0.60 CPM based on experience
• 2,000 to 2,400 miles per week
• $25 to $35 per additional stop (most loads run multiple stops)
• $3,000 sign-on bonus
  : $1,500 at 90 days, $1,500 at 6 months

How the Route Works

Freight is preloaded and waiting for you in Calhoun. You run primarily Southeast, with occasional trips out toward Memphis and Missouri. Once you deliver, dispatch typically works you back toward Calhoun for your next load, and if you're within about 150 miles, expect to deadhead back rather than sit and wait.

It's retail freight, larger product, tight docks at some stores. If you can back a trailer into a small space without three tries, you'll do fine here.

Home Time

Weekly, with a 34-hour reset. Need to work around an appointment or something on the calendar? Talk to dispatch, there's room to work with you when it's possible.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 36 months
• At least 12 consecutive months of U.S. driving history
• Safe driving record
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
• No current contract with another carrier
• Weekly pay, direct deposit, check, or Comdata
• 401(k), company matches up to 5%
