At Farmers Insurance The Kincanon Agency in Murphy, TX, we’re looking for driven individuals to join our Protege Program and learn what it takes to grow a successful insurance career — with the potential to develop into future leadership roles.

This is a hands-on development opportunity where you’ll work directly with an experienced agency owner while learning key areas of the business, including sales, client relationships, marketing, and agency operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Learn sales and client relationship building
  • Assist with marketing and lead generation
  • Gain hands on experience in agency operations
  • Develop real world business and communication skills

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Insurance Sales Representative:

  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
  • Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly client support
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day
  • Develop new financial service opportunities with both existing and new clients
Requirements

Qualifications for the Insurance Sales Representative:

  • Sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus
  • Insurance experience is preferred, but not required
  • Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
  • Must be coachable
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be motivated and determined
