• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in a blended unit (Med/Surg, Swing Bed, and occasional PCU cases)
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to clinical changes
• Manage IV therapies and infusion devices; monitor for complications and document findings in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with the health care team, participate in rounds and handoffs, educate patients and families, and document care and progress
• Maintain patient safety and comfort by adhering to infection prevention, mobility, fall prevention, and symptom management protocols
• Align assignments with patient acuity and staffing guidance, maintaining unit ratios such as 1:5 for Med/Surg and 1:3–4 for PCU when appropriate

• Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois
• Ability to work the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 3x12 schedule, with every other weekend and holiday
• Willingness to care for a blended Med/Surg unit including Swing Bed and PCU patients
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer tasks
