Registered Nurse PACU

$2448.00/week -

Job Summary:

Provides safe and efficient patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring smooth recovery from anesthesia and surgery. Collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality post-operative nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and recovery status continuously.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed to support patient recovery.
• Maintain documentation of patient progress and clinical interventions.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and notify physicians of any complications.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transfer and discharge.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including primary and backup calls including weekends.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Proven experience in acute care, preferably in a surgical or PACU setting.
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
