Car Wash Shift Lead

Finish Line Car Wash in Madisonville, KY is seeking a Car Wash Shift Lead to guide daily operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience. In this hands-on role, you'll supervise team members, support training, and keep each shift running smoothly in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating POS and wash equipment, monitoring wash quality, and maintaining a clean, safe site.

You'll model our customer-first culture while developing leadership, communication, and operations skills with opportunities to grow into higher-level supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and resolve basic customer concerns
• Operate POS system, handle cash, and reconcile shift transactions
• Monitor wash quality, equipment operation, and safety procedures
• Train and coach new employees on service standards and policies
• Maintain cleanliness of wash tunnels, vacuums, and customer areas
• Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and shift checklists
• Monitor chemical and supply levels and report shortages
• Enforce safety and cleanliness standards for staff and customers
• Support opening and closing procedures as needed
