Staff Grade 121 (Regular Full‑Time, 12‑month term, exempt).
- Provide vision, strategic direction, and leadership for all Financial Aid and Scholarship operations.
- Oversee daily operations, staff supervision, and implementation of aid programs to support student access and retention.
- Direct state, federal, and institutional scholarship programs and provide routine reporting.
- Interpret, research, and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and university regulations.
- Coordinate Requests for Proposals for the Student Financial Aid area.
- Assist in coordination of Racer One Stop and represent the office on university committees.
- Provide counseling to parents and students concerning financial aspects of their education.
- Ensure compliance with NCAA, OVC, and MVC regulations related to student fees and aid.
- Oversee and coordinate A‑133 Audit reports, working with university auditors.
- Manage Student Employment and Title IV compliance.
- Submit the university’s Program Participation Agreement with the U.S. Department of Education.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in student financial aid.
- Five years of staff supervision.
- Strong knowledge of Title IV Federal Financial Aid rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and general systems applications.
- Ability to present information and interact with students, parents, and the public.
- Strong analytical abilities; ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
- Experience assessing staff development needs and implementing training solutions.
- Hands‑on experience with Banner.
