HR Consulting Solutions, LLC is an international executive search firm that has been retained by DAE-IL USA, Inc. to conduct a search for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team in Murray, KY.
DAE-IL USA is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Human Resources Manager to lead all Human Resources operations at our manufacturing facility in Murray, Kentucky.
DAE-IL USA is part of DAE-IL Corporation, one of South Korea's leading manufacturers of precision automotive transmission gears and drivetrain components. Since opening its state‑of‑the‑art U.S. manufacturing facility in 2024, DAE-IL USA has continued to grow while supplying high‑quality automotive components to leading automotive manufacturers. Our Murray facility utilizes advanced forging, heat‑treating, and machining processes to manufacture precision drivetrain components for the automotive industry.
As our organization continues to grow, we are creating this new Human Resources Manager position to establish a dedicated, on‑site HR presence. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to build strong employee relationships, partner with executive leadership, and help shape the future of our organization.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Human Resources Manager will serve as the primary HR leader for our Murray manufacturing facility, providing both strategic leadership and day‑to‑day human resources support. This position requires a highly visible HR professional who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, building relationships with employees, coaching supervisors, resolving workplace concerns, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The Human Resources Manager will play a key role in strengthening communication, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness while serving as a trusted business partner to both our U.S. workforce and international leadership team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands‑on employee support and wants the opportunity to build and lead an HR function that makes a meaningful impact throughout the organization.
- Lead all Human Resources functions for the facility
- Conduct HR audits and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and department managers
- Build positive relationships with employees throughout the organization
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees
- Lead employee relations initiatives by fostering a respectful, engaged, and positive workplace culture.
- Conduct employee investigations and resolve employee relations issues
- Coach supervisors on performance management, discipline, documentation, and employment law
- Administer company policies and ensure consistent application
- Coordinate employee orientation and onboarding
- Oversee benefits administration and leave programs
- Assist with payroll administration and timekeeping
- Manage workers' compensation and unemployment matters
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain employee records and HRIS information
- Develop and deliver employee training programs
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Partner with leadership to improve organizational culture and communication
- Assist with succession planning and workforce development
- Maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and professionalism
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience supporting a multi‑shift manufacturing operation
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution experience
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with recruiting and onboarding
- Familiarity with payroll and HRIS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Previous HR management or supervisory experience
- SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
