Location: Murray, KY
Schedule: This is a first-shift position. Occasional weekend work or scheduled shutdown maintenance may be required to support production operations.
Compensation: $25.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

DAE-IL USA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing team in Murray, Kentucky. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the facility's production equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations. DAE-IL USA is part of DAE-IL Corporation, one of South Korea's leading manufacturers of precision automotive transmission gears and drivetrain components. Since opening its state-of-the-art U.S. manufacturing facility in 2018, DAE-IL USA has continued to grow while supplying high-quality automotive components to leading automotive manufacturers.

Our Murray facility utilizes advanced forging, heat treating, and machining processes to manufacture precision drivetrain components for the automotive industry.

POSITION SUMMARY

DAE-IL USA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of CNC machining centers, robotic assembly equipment, conveyors, forging equipment, and other industrial manufacturing systems. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with both electrical and mechanical systems, and taking ownership of equipment reliability. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and skilled troubleshooter who can identify the root cause of equipment failures rather than simply replacing parts.

Success in this role requires strong diagnostic skills, sound mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and fluid system failures throughout the facility.
  • Diagnose equipment issues using maintenance software, machine diagnostics, and PLC troubleshooting tools.
  • Complete preventive maintenance activities and accurately document repairs.
  • Repair and maintain CNC machines, robotic assembly systems, conveyors, forging equipment, saws, washing systems, and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled equipment by identifying faults, inputs/outputs, sensors, and electrical components.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting on equipment operating up to 480V while following all lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures.
  • Replace bearings, ball screws, couplings, belts, sensors, switches, motors, air cylinders, and other machine components.
  • Maintain pneumatic systems including valves, regulators, cylinders, fittings, and air-operated devices.
  • Yroubleshoot pumps, piping, and industrial fluid management systems that circulate cutting oils, coolants, wash water, and other manufacturing fluids.
  • Repair conveyor systems, including disassembly, cleaning, rebuilding, and installation.
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding and basic fabrication repairs to support equipment maintenance and minimize production downtime.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Work closely with production and engineering personnel to resolve equipment issues.
  • Troubleshoot and replace sensors, proximity switches, limit switches, and other industrial control devices.
  • Follow all OSHA requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies while performing maintenance activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 volts.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with bearings, ball screws, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, and rotating equipment.
