Wound Nurse
Spring Creek Rehab, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Nurse to join our team in Murray, Kentucky.
Wound Nurse Responsibilities- Provide wound care services to patients with acute and chronic wounds, including assessments, treatments, and education
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans to promote healing and prevent complications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Conduct wound cleaning, dressing changes, and other interventions as needed
- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on wound care techniques and self-care strategies
- Participate in rounds and discuss patients' progress with the healthcare team
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Current Nurse licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in wound care or related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with wound care protocols and evidence-based practices
