The Product Specialist / Corporate Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting corporate leadership and operational teams. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with expertise in mortgage industry guidelines, federal regulations, and investor relations. The role involves managing corporate communications, investor updates, reporting, and maintaining critical systems and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the COO and CCO with research, documentation, scheduling, and regulatory guidance.
- Create and distribute training materials, bulletins, and guideline updates.
- Manage company wide announcements related to products, programs, and guideline revisions.
- Maintain and update the company’s Contact Sheet for investors, MI companies, and other partners.
- Oversee SharePoint (Intercap Insider), including editing, updating, and creating new pages/sites.
- Manage key content areas: broker information pages, underwriting matrices/overlays, policies/procedures, and MI training webinars.
- Coordinate weekly Ops Huddle meetings, including PowerPoint preparation, recording, and document distribution for compliance.
- Ensure timely updates of policy and procedure documents on Intercap Insider.
- Oversee investor rollouts, ensuring progress tracking and deadline management.
- Provide ongoing investor updates and maintain documentation of product and guideline changes.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding underwriters, including VA Credit and SAR applications, FHA, USDA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the administrator for investor websites, managing employee access to portals and guidelines.
- Review and process grant program requests, ensuring approval before publication and maintaining the master list of programs.
Education and Experience
- 3-5 years prior experience in the mortgage industry, preferably in operations, underwriting, or compliance.
- Experience with investor relations and underwriting procedures is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), and other communication platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and ensure accuracy.
