Join the world's largest brake caliper restoration facility! PMB Performance is seeking a motivated Build & Assembly Technician to join our elite brake caliper restoration team. This is a full-time position with an established, locally owned company specializing in premium Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other classic and exotic automotive brake components.
All necessary training will be provided. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical ability, a desire to learn new skills, and the drive to build a career in the vintage and exotic automotive industry. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in precision, and is eager to become highly skilled in a specialized trade.
MUST BE AN EAGER WORKER.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassembly of vintage and exotic automotive brake calipers
- Cleaning, inspecting, and preparing components for restoration
- Metal finishing and surface preparation of caliper parts
- Careful assembly using proper tools, procedures, and torque specifications
- Learning correct application details for Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other exotic automobiles
- Maintaining the integrity of rare and valuable vintage components throughout the restoration process
- Keeping a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Working with the restoration team to ensure high-quality finished products
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in assembly, mechanical repair, basic automotive repair, or similar hands‑on work is helpful
- No specialized brake caliper experience required — we provide on-the-job training
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, hard working, and team-oriented
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to speak English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch
