Join the world's largest brake caliper restoration facility! PMB Performance is seeking a motivated Teardown Technician to join our elite brake caliper restoration team. This is a full-time, hands-on position focused on the careful disassembly of brake calipers for Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other classic and exotic automobiles.
All necessary training will be provided. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, patience, attention to detail, and the willingness to learn proper techniques for working with rare and valuable vintage components. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking things apart, solving mechanical challenges, and working in a fast-paced restoration shop.

Key Responsibilities- Disassembling vintage and exotic automotive brake calipers
- Removing pistons, seals, hardware, fittings, bleeders, and related components
- Learning proper teardown methods to avoid damaging rare or valuable parts
- Using hand tools, shop equipment, and safe work practices during disassembly
- Inspecting components for damage, corrosion, wear, or missing parts
- Sorting, tagging, and organizing parts for the next steps in restoration
- Cleaning and preparing components for metal finishing and rebuild departments
- Maintaining the integrity of Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other classic automotive components
- Keeping a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Working with the restoration team to keep projects moving efficiently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with hand tools, mechanical repair, basic automotive repair, or similar hands‑on work is helpful
- No brake caliper experience required — we provide on‑the‑job training
- Strong attention to detail and patience with small parts
- Reliable, hard working, and team‑oriented
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to speak English
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch
