Ensign Wholesale Flower Market is seeking a highly capable, detail-oriented professional to support our General Manager and Fresh Flower Buyer.

This is not a traditional administrative role
—it is a hands‑on operational position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced wholesale environment, enjoys solving problems, and wants to grow into a larger leadership role over time.

You will work directly with leadership, vendors, and internal teams to help drive purchasing, logistics, and execution during both daily operations and peak seasons.

• Support day‑to‑day operations and key business initiatives
• Maintain organized systems, track priorities, and ensure follow‑through
• Assist with purchase order entry, tracking, and reconciliation
• Communicate with flower buyers, farms, vendors, and suppliers
• Coordinate inbound shipments, including AWBs and vendor/farm invoices
• Manage email communication and vendor follow‑ups
• Assist in planning and execution for peak seasons (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, weddings, etc.)
• Help drive accountability and execution on growth initiatives

• 2+ years experience in administrative, purchasing, or operations support
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general systems/tools
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Proactive problem solver with strong ownership and follow‑through
• Experience leading or managing people (directly or indirectly) preferred
• Experience in wholesale, floral, logistics, or distribution environments preferred
• Basic understanding of inventory management and purchasing processes
