Job Description:

As a Physician in General Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience at a Level I Trauma Center. In this role you will perform hernia operations, breast cancer surgeries, laparoscopic appendectomies, foregut, gallbladders and emergency surgeries.

• This position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance based upon distance, a generous salary plus production incentive and an annual bonus incentive based on continuous improvement.
• You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT with 2 days in clinic and 2 days in the OR.
• Call is 1 in 7.

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery or Abdominal Wall Reconstruction is a plus
• Proficiency in robotic surgery required;
  Robotic Certification is a plus
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS, ACLS certification and DEA
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

Murray City is located in the Salt Lake Valley, about 8 miles south of Salt Lake City. Nearby attractions include Utah Symphony, Ballet West, Pioneer Theater Company, Sundance Film Festival, Park City Art Festival, and local sports teams.
