Utah Emergency Physicians, PC (UEP) provides Emergency Department care in collaboration with Intermountain Health (IH). We are a democratic physician owned group.

We cover seven Intermountain Health ED’s on the Wasatch Front in Utah. We divide our hiring into the Northern Region (Ogden, Layton, Tremonton) and Central/Canyons (Salt Lake City, Murray, Cottonwood Heights and Riverton).

Our positions are for full time ED physicians who are residency trained and ABEM BC/BP. Our new physicians work 14-16 8-9 hour shifts per month based upon needs of the group and the requirements of shareholder track. We have a 2 year track to partnership. Our pre-partners are W2 employees with full benefits, malpractice and paid vacation. We pay differentials for evenings, nights and weekends to all of our providers.

Our shareholders all own an equal share of the company and share profits based upon hours worked and RVU’s generated with complete transparency. Our pay is highly competitive. Partners are paid as W2 employees based upon net pay after expenses.

Our facilities are modern, constantly updated and state of the art. IH is a highly resourced and progressive health care organization with a strong focus on using data to provide excellent outcomes with consistency and sustainably. We also partner with IH with provision of tele-emergency medicine care.

We have a Level I and a Level II trauma center as well as multiple community hospitals. We have excellent nursing, hospital facilities and consultant physicians.
