About this roleAs a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will join an established Inflammatory Bowel Disease practice that is part of a nationally recognized health system and is Utah’s most extensive health care network, offering top-tier patient care. The expanding multidisciplinary IBD team is led by an IBD Medical Director and includes an IBD Registered Dietitian, an IBD RN, and a comprehensive care model.
The practice is experiencing significant growth and has an excellent tertiary-referral base to the IBD clinic, comprised of employed and affiliated PCPs, GI providers, and colorectal surgeons.
- This position includes a starting base salary of $650,000 annually, a $50,000 sign‑on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, a $1,500 monthly training stipend for up to two years, and up to $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable. Future AEC opportunities are also available.
- Hourly rate ranges from $7.25 to $999.99, based on experience.
- You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, choosing a subspecialist gastroenterology track in IBD and dedicating at least 50% of clinical care time to IBD care.
- Your call schedule is shared with the group and expected at minimum of 1:5, with additional call pay for extra call shifts.
- This clinic is supported by a network of affiliated Intermountain Medical Group primary and specialty care physicians and a 1:2 APP to Physician ratio.
- The GI department holds monthly GI educational conferences, including IBD case conferences, GI multidisciplinary conferences, and annual gastroenterology conferences.

- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
- U.S. ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
- Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis.
