Hospitalist Nocturnist

Job Description:

This position is allocated for an ABIM certified/eligible physician trained in internal medicine and interested in hospital medicine.

• This position includes a $15,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance (determined by distance), and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually based on meeting quality goals, thoughtful stewardship of our healthcare system, and achieving high standards in performance reviews as they relate to citizenship.

• This is a unique opportunity to provide direct inpatient care and participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to internal medicine residents and medical students.

• You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, a qua ternary care academic hospital. You will also practice at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT, and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, which are 2 of the valley's community hospitals. Additionally, you will practice telemedicine with Intermountain Health rural hospitals and outreach programs.

• This position is a dedicated nocturnist role and will require 12 night shifts per month.

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• Successful completion of an ACGME AccreditedUS Residency Training Program

• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Experienced Hospitalists who are Family Medicine trained will be considered on a case by case basis

• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

• Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
