RoleWe are seeking 2nd class welders with proven experience in mobile plant or structural infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the fabrication team with welding out projects to a high standard, ensuring all work meets site safety and Australian quality standards. This is a full-time position with a choice of roster options and shift arrangements.
Responsibilities- Must be able to pass weld test to AS1554.1 and AS1554.4
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience using hand/power tools and measuring instruments
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Be reliable, physically fit, and self-motivated
- Experience in both mild and heavy gauge metals
- Work with light gauge material through to heavy plate work building buckets
- Happy to work unsupervised
- Relevant Tickets or Certifications
- Knowledge of GMAW (MIG, TIG) processes
- An understanding of quality control procedures and processes
- Full Australian working rights
- National Police Clearance
- Full-time position
- Choice of 5:2 or 7:7 roster, home every night
- Day shift only
- Superannuation paid on all hours worked
