Salary: $28.53 - $28.82 per hour + 25% casual loading

We’re looking for a compassionate Home Care Attendant to deliver practical, in-home support that promotes independence and prevents premature admission to residential care. As a Home Care Attendant
, you will provide essential first-level support to clients under the guidance of the Case Manager – Aged & Disability. Your primary focus will be delivering high-quality domestic assistance, including household chores such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and toilets, laundry, and changing bed linen. You will play a vital role in supporting clients daily living and wellbeing while helping them maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
Your work will empower people to remain independent and thrive within their community.
- Experience in the area of domestic tasks.
- Experience in dealing with elderly people.
The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, called RMCLHN for short, supports more than 70,000 people living in country South Australia in the towns and surrounds of Renmark, Paringa, Berri, Barmera, Waikerie, Loxton, Pinnaroo, Lameroo, Karoonda, Mannum, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Meningie, Tintinara and Coonalpyn.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:
- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
- Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease:
Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
