DSP Direct Support Professional

Regular Salary: $20.49 per hour Mon-Fri and $21.49 per hour (shifts beginning 11PM Friday to 11PM on Sunday). Non‑work time will be paid at the base rate.

Responsibilities

• Help meet the personal health, safety and welfare of residents in the group home.
• Assist and/or supervise residents in personal care activities such as bathing and toileting.
• Participate in cleaning, cooking and life‑skills training.
• Administer or assist with medication administration.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, co‑workers and residents.
• Drive residents to/from day programs and community activities using agency vehicles.
• Document services provided daily.
• Assist with fun community‑based activities.

Qualifications

• Motivated to work as part of a team that acts in the best interest of residents.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, non‑provisional driver’s license.
• Physical ability to meet CPR/First Aid and emergency evacuation requirements.

Part‑time Shift
: 14 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday 3:00‑10:00 PM)
