Clinical Therapist – Residential & IOP

Recovery Ways is a Joint Commission-accredited behavioral health organization providing Residential, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient treatment for adults with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. As a Primary Therapist at Recovery Ways, you'll provide individual and group therapy to adults receiving treatment in our RTC, PHP), and IOP Programs. You'll work with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders while collaborating closely with psychiatrists, doctors, nursing, case management, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities include completing assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, facilitating engaging process and psycho educational groups, documenting clinical services, participating in treatment team meetings, supporting discharge planning, and helping clients build the skills needed for long-term recovery.

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current Utah license or associate license (LCSW, CSW, CMHC, ACMHC, LMFT, or AMFT), or eligible for Utah licensure.
• Experience working with adults with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy.
• Strong clinical documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience in Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, or other behavioral health treatment settings.
• Experience facilitating process and psycho educational groups.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
• Experience with crisis intervention, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and insurance/medical necessity documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to build therapeutic relationships while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
