Job Description
This position is responsible for assessing client fitness and athletic performance capacities, identifying areas of dysfunction in movement, and opportunities for improvement. Works with clients and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment programs to assist in rehabilitation, return to play, injury prevention, and sports performance goals.
Job Specifics

PRN (As Needed) - Location:
Primarily based at TOSH in Murray, with occasional floating to Park City as needed.
Essential Functions
- Completes assessments on new clients and creates exercise plans.
- Delivers exercise plans as outlined in 1:1, small group, and large group settings.
- Delivers & oversees Return to Play program for injured clients; coordinates with physical therapist and physician on progress.
- Educates clients regarding exercise technique and appropriate use of equipment.
- Documents results and training in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
- Maintains equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Makes sure the work environment is clean and inviting according to health department codes and facility standards.
- Provides mentorship, training, and oversight to Exercise Therapists and Exercise Specialists.

Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Physical Requirements
- Mild to moderate visual acuity and hearing to read information and collaborate with patients.
- Manual dexterity for operating equipment and typed documentation.
- Capacity to lift, transfer, and move patients and equipment of varying weight, including heavy items.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and assist in transporting patients.
- Prepared to navigate busy patient care areas safely.
Location
- Intermountain Health Park City Hospital, TOSH – Primary site:
Murray, UT. - Occasional floating to Park City, UT.
Compensation
Hourly: $24.30 - $37.52 (dependent on experience)
