Financial Coordinator Representative
Location:
On‑Site – Murray/Utah, Intermountain Medical Center
Schedule:
Transplant Dept, Monday‑Through Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm
- Provide exceptional financial counseling support to patients, helping them understand insurance benefits and out‑of‑pocket costs.
- Meet with patients to discuss payment options and financial assistance programs.
- Verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits clearly.
- Assist applicants with Medicaid and financial assistance applications.
- Build trust with patients during stressful financial situations.
- Collaborate with care teams and revenue cycle departments.
- Maintain accurate documentation across multiple systems.
- Exceptional customer service experience, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates genuine compassion, empathy, and patience when supporting patients, clients, and team members.
- Ability to explain financial and insurance concepts clearly.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize quickly with high attention to detail.
- Professionalism with sensitive financial conversations.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in healthcare financial counseling and revenue cycle.
- Exposure to insurance/Medicaid and detailed intakes.

Base pay range: $20.94 – $28.87 per hour. Pay determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and education.
