Guest Service Associate

Your role as a Guest Service Associate involves providing compassionate service that eases anxiety and creates memorable experiences for everyone we serve.
Compensation and ScheduleThe hourly base pay range for this position is $15 to $18.50 per hour plus tips. The work schedule is 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients.
- Greet guests within 5feet using professional courtesy; use guest last names and appropriate salutations.
- Park, retrieve, and ensure safe delivery of occupancy vehicles.
- Assist guests with luggage, bell services, luggage storage, and opening vehicle and hotel doors.
- Provide guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; supply information about outlets, meeting rooms, and local attractions.
- Deliver messages, items, and guest amenities as requested.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures; issue and collect claim checks; maintain ticket information.
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of employment.
- At least one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer service principles.
- Read/write standard English; follow simple instructions and memos.
- Perform basic arithmetic with numbers up to three digits and handle U.S. money units.
- Understand 24‑hour and military time; understand parking rates.
- Preferable ability to operate manual transmission; ability to parallel park.
Job is routine and follows established practices and procedures. Incumbent carries out duties under specific directions; decisions are within departmental guidelines.
Physical DemandsEmployees must talk or hear, frequently sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, reach with hands, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift up to 100pounds occasionally, 50pounds frequently, or 20pounds constantly. Work is primarily outdoors; may be subject to extreme heat and cold.
Other ConditionsTravel up to 5% may be required.
