Enterprise Solutions Architect – Consultant (Salesforce)

Location and CompensationMurray, Utah | 40 hours per week | $60.06 – $94.57 per hour (salary based on experience)
Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of long‑term strategic goals and short‑term tactical plans for managing and maintaining corporate systems and software.
- Ensure that proposed and existing system architectures align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to Systems Analysts, Systems Engineers, Enterprise Solution Architects, and software development teams.
- Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost‑reduction opportunities.
- Lead research on emerging technologies to support system development and recommend solutions that increase cost effectiveness and system flexibility.
- Use expert knowledge to design, develop, and oversee implementation of end‑to‑end integrated systems, where applicable.
- Document the existing systems architecture and technology portfolio; recommend improvements or alternatives.
- Review new and existing system design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans.
- Collaborate with end‑users, clients, or senior management to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development.
- Model business and systems processes through use‑case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.
- Develop and execute test plans to assess infrastructure and system performance; report findings and recommend improvements.
- Develop and manage a systems/solutions capacity plan.
- Develop, document, communicate, and enforce policies for standardizing systems and software as necessary.
- 6+ years in Salesforce architecture, solution design, and implementation.
- Proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.
- Expertise in Salesforce integration with third‑party and internal applications (REST/SOAP APIs, Mule Soft, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience in web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript for Salesforce customizations.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flow.
- Experience with CI/CD, Dev Ops practices, and deployment strategies for Salesforce.
- Ability to handle large data sets and bulk processing in Salesforce.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and security best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to define scalable technical solution architecture and manage integrations with third‑party systems.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II
- Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or Integration Architect
- Eight years of enterprise solutions architect experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information management, or a related technical field, or equivalent four years of technical experience.
- Experience developing strategic systems and solutions architecture plans.
- Experience with business requirements gathering and analysis.
- Experience in systems, hardware, and network design and development.
- Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices.
- Solid understanding of core enterprise applications.
- In‑depth technical knowledge of networks, PCs, and platform operating systems.
- Hands‑on experience with application development tools.
- Strong knowledge of software evaluation principles and practices.
- Proven project planning and management experience.
- Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Highly self‑motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
