Web Developer & Digital Growth Specialist

Job Description

PMB Webwerks is seeking an experienced Web Developer & Digital Growth Specialist to help build, improve, and expand our online presence.

This is not simply a content or customer service position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working directly with websites, code, digital marketing platforms, automation tools, analytics, SEO, and emerging AI technology.

The ideal candidate is technically capable, self-directed, highly detail oriented, and interested in helping us develop better systems rather than simply maintaining what already exists.

PMB Performance operates a large and growing automotive parts and restoration business with multiple divisions and a substantial online catalog. Our website is a critical part of our business, and we are looking for someone who can help us improve both the technical side of the site and the way customers find, interact with, and purchase from us.

This position will work closely with PMB Webwerks to improve website functionality, search visibility, email marketing, customer communication, automation, and overall digital reach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ongoing website development, programming, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Build and improve website features, landing pages, forms, integrations, and internal tools
• Identify and correct website performance, usability, and technical issues
• Help organize and improve a large automotive product catalog
• Develop systems and automations that reduce repetitive work
• Improve technical and on-page SEO
• Use SEMrush to research keywords, identify opportunities, monitor rankings, analyze competitors, and improve organic search performance
• Build, manage, and optimize customer email campaigns and automations using Omnisend
• Use ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools to improve programming, research, content creation, product data, workflow automation, and internal processes
• Help develop AI-assisted systems for managing and expanding website content
• Improve product pages, category structures, internal linking, metadata, and search visibility
• Assist with analytics, conversion tracking, and identifying opportunities to increase website traffic and sales
• Work with management to turn ideas into functional web tools and digital processes
• Document systems and create repeatable procedures as Webwerks continues to grow

Qualifications

• Strong computer and internet skills
• Demonstrated experience with web development and programming
• Comfortable working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, databases, or similar web technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and independently work toward solutions
• Experience with website content management systems and ecommerce platforms
• Working knowledge of SEO and SEMrush
• Experience with Omnisend or comparable email marketing and automation platforms
• Active experience using ChatGPT and Claude as professional productivity and development tools
• Understanding of AI-assisted coding and workflow automation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar systems and technologies
• Available to work full time and willing to work additional hours when necessary

Not Required, but a Major Plus

• Advanced JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, or similar programming experience
• Ecommerce development experience
• Shopify, Woo Commerce, Word Press, or similar platform experience
• API development and third-party integrations
• Experience creating internal applications or automation tools
• Google Analytics and Google Search Console experience
• Technical SEO experience
• Paid search / SEM experience
• Conversion-rate optimization experience
• Experience managing large product databases or digital asset libraries
• Automotive knowledge
• Air-cooled or water-cooled Porsche knowledge
• Experience in the automotive aftermarket or enthusiast market
