Maintenance Custodian Associate

Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

The maintenance associate role at Sam’s Club involves ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and associates. You will be on your feet and on the go, maintaining a positive attitude to help customers have a great experience from start to finish.

• Maintain safety of the Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Clean all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment, following Company procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash following the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.
