We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to direct and help with receiving, warehousing, shipping, returns, and distribution operations for an exciting and fast-growing company. You will oversee and actively participate in the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of Albion apparel products, along with other third-party vendor products.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision, and ensure all outgoing and incoming shipments are accurate and timely. Ensure the warehouse is organised, and inventory is accurate.
Responsibilities- Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving shipments and warehousing of products, ensuring accurate inventory is received
- Oversee shipping of customer orders in a timely manner, and utilizing efficiency of output
- Oversee customer returns - processing, inspecting, and receiving
- Oversee internal transfers to Albion retail locations from the main warehouse location
- Oversee pickup and delivery of local transfers and shipments using Albion’s own transportation
- Managing back orders and pre-orders and work with Customer Service when needed
- Set up layout and ensure efficient space utilization when receiving new products and supply shipments
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping requirements and work with shipping carriers and transport companies
- Manage stock control and reconcile with inventory system
- Prepare weekly and monthly projections and goals for optimal warehouse efficiency
- Hire and train staff based on needs and seasonality
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Plan and manage workstations, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Oversee ordering of supplies and goods
- Produce reports and statistics regularly of processing (IN/OUT) output and inventory accuracy
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Savvy and comfortable with computers and software systems
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State driver’s license with satisfactory DMV driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
- English/Spanish speaker is a plus
