The Product Development Partner is a senior level product manager who leads the development and management of a portfolio of high‑impact Medicare products within the government programs division at Select Health, overseeing aspects of product strategy, design, launch, and ongoing performance. This role drives the success of Medicare offerings across multiple states, with projected annual revenue exceeding $400 million. The partner collaborates with cross‑functional teams—including clinical, compliance, operations, and sales—to ensure products meet regulatory requirements, deliver exceptional member value, and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage a portfolio of high‑complexity products with projected annual revenue above $400 million.
- Lead and support implementation of clinical, operational, and financial improvement initiatives, coordinating across the organization.
- Guide product managers and department leads to ensure proper coordination and alignment of resources.
- Ensure product life cycles meet growth goals and NOI targets, overseeing market intelligence, product development, launch, growth, maturity, and retirement.
- Conduct feasibility analyses, develop business cases, financial projections, sales forecasts, operational assessments, marketing plans, and implementation plans for new products.
- Lead sales, marketing, broker relations, and internal coordination to develop multi‑channel distribution strategies and promotional messaging.
- Evaluate new product opportunities, geographic expansion, and strategic partnerships to meet growth objectives.
- Provide market and product education to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strategize with risk‑share partners and maintain partnership relationships.
- Monitor competitor products, market trends, and conduct customer research to support optimal product positioning.

- Ten years of experience in health care, health insurance, managed care, employee health benefits management, or self‑insured plan administration, with at least five years related to product development or management.
- Demonstrated understanding of actuarial pricing models, underwriting practices, risk management, adverse selection, provider payment arrangements, multi‑channel insurance product distribution, and their impact on product performance.
- Experience driving organic growth through product initiatives with ability to recognize revenue‑growth opportunities.
- Deep understanding of insurance product analytics and consumer behavior to develop high‑performing products.
- Knowledge of Medicare Advantage products or experience in marketing, operations, compliance, or policy management related to Medicare Advantage.
Select Health – Murray, Utah
Schedule40 hours per week; hybrid role requiring travel to areas within Utah, Idaho, Nevada, or Colorado.
