What You'll Own
The Assistant Service Manager will work directly with service leadership and take primary responsibility for several key areas of our operation:
- CSI – Monitor performance, coach the team, identify opportunities, and help improve the overall customer experience.
- BG Sales – Drive maintenance sales through training, tracking, coaching, and accountability.
- Video View Rate – Monitor performance and work with advisors and technicians to increase customer engagement with inspection videos.
- Training & Development – Help onboard, train, and continually develop our Service Advisors and service team.
- Scheduling & Shop Flow – Help manage appointment capacity, shop loading, workflow, and daily scheduling to keep the department running efficiently.
- Support the day‑to‑day operation of the service department.
- Coach Service Advisors on performance, communication, sales, and customer retention.
- Assist with escalated customer concerns and help bring them to resolution.
- Monitor repair order quality and advisor performance.
- Maintain strong communication between Service, Parts, and technicians.
- Reinforce dealership processes and Mazda standards.
- Identify problems, develop solutions, and follow through.
- Step in wherever leadership is needed.

Requirements What We're Looking For- Automotive dealership service experience required.
- Strong Service Advisor experience or previous service management experience.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both customers and employees.
- Leadership mentality with the ability to coach and hold others accountable.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume service environment.
- Dealer track, Xtime, or similar dealership software experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
