Laminate​/granite shop hybrid position

Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Laminate/Granite Counter top Fabricator to join our shop. This is a hybrid position where you will be building laminate tops, and as well as assisting the manager in the granite shop. This role involves hands-on fabrication work, shop upkeep, and clear communication with our scheduling office. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

• Cut and prep wood substrates for laminate countertops
• Apply and glue laminate plastic accurately and cleanly
• Drive a forklift to accept deliveries
• Trim, finish, and inspect completed pieces
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Communicate clearly with the scheduling/office team regarding job status, timelines, and issues
• Follow shop procedures and safety guidelines

• Experience with laminate fabrication or woodworking is a plus (pay depends on experience) as well as fabricating granite experience
• Ability to use basic shop tools (table saw, router, laminate trimmer, forklift etc.)
• Attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed

• Starting pay at $18/hour, with higher pay for experienced fabricators
• Consistent work and a straightforward, no-BS work environment
