JOB SUMMARY & FUNCTIONS:
The purpose of this position is: to complete molding machine and support equipment repair.

This position includes significant duties such as:

• Completes minor mold, press, and support equipment repair including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or electrical maintenance
• Reads prints to make minor repairs on molding machines and associated sub-systems
• Provides basic technical support for troubleshooting equipment problems
• Verifies the correct set-up of molding machines and auxiliary equipment before processing
• Works with hand tools, lockout/tagout, chemicals, etc., demonstrating proper safety precautions
• Ensures accuracy and good documentation practices per company standards
• Complies with safety standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out and Zero-Energy
• Trains/mentors new technicians in department
• Performs other duties as required to meet the needs of the department and company

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

1 – 2 yrs experience in mechanical and electrical area; experience with basic tools

EOE/AA including Veterans and Disabled

Working Conditions:

Lifts, pushes, pulls or moves equipment and machinery up to 35 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Adherence to plant safety and PPE requirements.
