The Social Media & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in representing EMG communities across several digital platforms. This position is responsible for creating engaging content, promoting brand consistency, and showcasing the lifestyle and value of multiple properties. Additionally, this position helps support the creation and execution of marketing initiates that promote brands across different communities and EMG.

The ideal candidate is creative, friendly, highly organized, and comfortable traveling to multiple sites to capture content. They must demonstrate strong phone, computer and social media skills, understand Fair Housing advertising guidelines, and consistently represent both the properties and EMG with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Candidates must provide examples of social media content, marketing campaigns, graphic designs, or other marketing materials they have created as part of the application and interview process.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned EMG communities to capture photos, videos, and on‑site content.
  • Create, schedule, and manage social media posts across multiple platforms.
  • Adhere to and assist in enforcing Fair Housing guidelines
  • Ensure all marketing and advertising complies with Fair Housing laws.
  • Represent the brand of each property—and EMG as a whole—with professionalism and consistency.
  • Engage with prospects and residents online, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
  • Engage, assist in planning and participate in property community engagement events and activities.
  • Collaborate with Property Managers to highlight community events, amenities, and updates.
  • Develop creative campaigns to increase visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current social media trends and best practices.
  • Assist with reputation management, including monitoring and responding to online reviews.
  • Support leasing teams by creating digital content that helps close leads and promote availability.
  • Track analytics and performance metrics to evaluate campaign success and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with website updates, online listings, and digital marketing materials.
  • Uphold EMG’s brand standards in all written, visual, and digital communication.
  • Participate in company meetings, trainings, and marketing strategy sessions.
  • Perform additional marketing or administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Collect data and complete market surveys.
  • All other duties assigned by Superiors.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing, branding, SEO, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing/design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
