Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) at the Lowry Gyn/Onc Clinic is a dedicated caregiver responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process, technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence‑based practices, and coordination with the healthcare team in an outpatient clinic setting.

About the RN Role

As a Registered Nurse in our clinics, you will triage calls, manage MyChart messages, provide pre‑ and post‑operative education, assist in office procedures, and provide patient education on medication management and treatment plans. You will support Gynecologic Oncology providers and work with the RN in the Urogynecology Department.

    Full‑time – 40 hours per week
  • Location:

    Hybrid – Triage RN in clinic 2‑3 days per week; may work remotely other days 8‑5 M‑F. Working Friday in the office is required. Primary location is Central Park OBGYN clinic with occasional travel to the Midtown Urogynecology office. Candidate must live in the local Front Range area with close proximity to the clinic and/or an Intermountain Health facility for meetings, orientation days, or technical/wifi issues while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize patient education by providing comprehensive training on medication management and medication reconciliation.
  • Triage calls, MyChart messages, pre‑ and post‑operative education and care.
  • Perform lab result outreach and monitor medication safety.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for medical assistants and other staff.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current RN License in the state of Colorado or compact license with the ability to obtain a Colorado RN license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program, with ability to obtain a BSN within four years unless possessing 15 years of continuous RN experience.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • One year of experience in a clinic setting or inpatient acute hospital setting with experience in Oncology (gynecologic oncology is a plus).
Physical Requirements

Ongoing need to see, read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies; frequent verbal communication; manual dexterity and computer use; lift and transfer patients; bend, lift and carry supplies up to heavy items; walk and assist transport; stand for extended periods.
