Job Overview
The Nursing Graduate position is designed for students enrolled in the Intermountain Nurse Residency program. The Graduate works under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) in a clinical setting, participating in patient care delivery, medication administration, and patient assessments. The role may be held for up to 12 weeks while pursuing RN licensure; after that period or following a failed license exam, the employee must transition to a qualified nursing position.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate the nursing process – assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direct supervision of an RN.
- Collect and document patient data, including vital signs and significant changes in condition.
- Observe, discuss, and assist in prioritizing patient needs and interdisciplinary care plans.
- Participate in patient/family education and communication as directed by the RN.
- Maintain accurate documentation, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision.
- Achieve RN licensure in a timely manner and complete all program and orientation requirements.
- Graduation from a recognized, accredited Nursing (RN) education program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Preferred:
Licensed or recently passed NCLEX, or bedside experience such as PCT, LPN, or unit capstone student.
- Read, see, and communicate information while operating monitors and equipment.
- Manipulate complex equipment, lift patient weights, and transfer supplies.
- Walk, stand, push, and pull equipment in a busy clinical environment.
- Operate a vehicle, if required, to assist in patient transport.

Schedule:
36 hours per week, NIGHT and VARIABLE shifts
Hourly Rate: $32.27 – $32.27 (dependent on experience)
