Member Assist Cart Attendant

Overview

Position Summary... We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensure there are carts ready and available.

You will also assist our members helping them load their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you.

The base pay range is $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr the above range is provided by Sam’s Club; your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure club pick up orders are filled by contacting members to notify when pickup time is delayed; inform members when products are unavailable and offer alternative options; ensure items are dispensed when members arrive for pickup; resolve member issues and concerns; promote the company’s products and services.
• Maintain safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps; follow procedures for handling merchandise; report unsafe situations to facility management.
• Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; assist with purchases, payments, and transactions; locate and organize merchandise; maintain carts/flatbeds and parking lot cleanliness.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; apply these in executing business processes and practices.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by coordinating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; adapt to change and provide progress updates.
