Job Overview

As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague – also known as a Beauty Advisor – you are the trusted expert customers turn to for all things beauty. You will educate, demonstrate products, provide consultations, and build lasting client relationships, with the goal of exceeding sales goals.

• Begin each day energized, greet teammates, and prepare the sales floor.
• Engage customers with a warm welcome, eye contact, and personal conversation, and demonstrate products.
• Maintain a shoppable space—clean counters, refresh signage, and assist with merchandise moves.
• Finish strong by sharing loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have what they need, and closing with a sincere thank‑you.
• Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
• Strive to improve daily, achieve sales goals, and contribute to team results.

• Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays) and dependable attendance.
• Strong communication skills with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
• Understanding of employment policies, safety rules, and procedures in English.
• Ability to deliver personalized beauty experiences: uncover needs, demonstrate application, and educate on benefits.
• Experience in driving sales, maintaining a shoppable space, and using clienteling tools.
• Meeting and surpassing daily sales goals.
• Acquiring new customers via opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
• Effective use of point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools.
• At least one year of customer service or selling experience.

• Talk, lift, constantly move, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
• Stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift at least 25 lbs; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders; reach above eye level.
• Require close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and handheld technology, including cash register operations.

Full‑time colleagues typically work 30 or more hours per week; part‑time 12–24 hours. All schedules include weekend shifts.
