Position:
Assistant Store Manager
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months (6+) of management/3rd key experience. This role partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage Customer Relations/Satisfaction. The position sets the tone for a customer-centric environment and may involve leadership on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.

Hourly wage: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour. The role includes a commission structure paid for performance, with additional bonuses based on store productivity and location factors. The actual pay will depend on location, qualifications, and experience.

- Standard store hours: typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; many stores are closed on Sundays.

- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Train and develop Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, handle cash drawers and merchandise, and protect assets.
- Manage asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and reporting.
- Analyze store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
- Communicate clearly with employees to convey the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Maintain product knowledge and act as manager on duty in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (in accordance with law).
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored externally.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Ability to work in multiple locations as needed and to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- 40+ hours per week; hours may vary by business needs.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and office machines.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills and cash handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong work ethic and business sense.

- Commission Plan Information:
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during interview. - Inclusion and arbitration:
