Job Description

The role of Retail Assistant Store Manager at Vuori is to help the Retail Store Manager lead the retail sales team by forging connections with customers and communicating Vuori’s brand values through insightful product knowledge and a happy, optimistic outlook. The assistant also encourages the team to maintain Vuori’s standards in retail sales and customer experience.

• Work with the sales team to ensure each customer receives the best experience possible.
• Take ownership of the sales floor and team to keep customer experience as the priority.
• Prepare the fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide honest, knowledgeable feedback to customers about merchandise style and fit.
• Forge lasting relationships with customers by engaging about product details, new product, replenishment and inviting them to upcoming events.
• Stay up‑to‑date on new items and best sellers and share this knowledge with customers and the team.
• Lead the store’s day‑to‑day operations when the Store Manager is absent.
• Motivate the sales team and achieve sales goals in a team‑based commission environment.
• Seek new product knowledge in the broader fashion landscape, especially active‑wear, to serve as an expert for customers.
• Lead the team to complete projects while keeping the focus on customer experience.
• Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
• Assist the Store Inventory Lead in processing all product shipments and managing inventory.
• Collaborate with the Retail Store Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community and team management to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead the team in daily maintenance of the store, including restocking product, maintaining visual merchandising and cleaning.
• Maintain responsibility, protocol and safety standards when opening or closing the store.
• Encourage employees to give 100%, adhere to punctuality and fulfill role responsibilities at all times.
• Complete weekly manual restock and send report to inventory management.
• Complete weekly cycle counts.
• Assist in processing weekly shipments.
• Ensure all store supplies are stocked and communicate needs monthly.
• Process online returns and defective products as needed and ship to the warehouse.
• Handle all restock and destock on a daily basis.
• Assist in keeping the backroom clean and bins organized.
• Manage the Aloha displays; refresh and restock weekly.
• Manage the mannequin refresh and inventory checks.
• Ensure all merchandising standards on the floor are met.

• Available for morning and/or evening shifts, 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, including at least one weekend day.
• Exhibit punctuality and strong attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
• Develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Be a customer‑service expert, creating experiences and building relationships, and handle customer concerns positively and proactively.

The hourly range for this role is $22/hr - $25/hr, plus team pooled commission.
