Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $7.22 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management or key experience to partner with the Store Manager in leading and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations and satisfaction. The role involves analyzing store financial statements, ensuring compliance with the asset protection program, promoting the business, and targeting new customer acquisitions.
It offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a store‑performance bonus.
- Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
- Monitor and assist in the training of staff to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers, merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer store processes and procedures, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting.
- Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Meet or exceed First Cash operating standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Stay up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willingness and ability to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Potential to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work at multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Primary responsibility for 40+ hours per week (hours not guaranteed).
