Rental Sales & Customer Experience Representative

Description

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused team member to support the daily operations of our Murray and Downtown rental locations. This position combines customer service, sales, and branch support, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of customers while helping them find the right transportation for their needs.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, comfortable working in a busy environment, and able to handle several responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude.

• Assist customers throughout their rental experience, including reservations, pickups, returns, extensions, and vehicle changes.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and help determine the most appropriate vehicle options.
• Explain available coverage options, upgrades, and additional rental services.
• Prepare rental contracts and accurately handle payments and other transactions.
• Check vehicles at pickup and return, noting mileage, fuel level, and any visible damage.
• Communicate with the vehicle operations team regarding fleet availability and vehicle readiness.
• Enter and update rental information in company computer systems.
• Assist repeat customers, business accounts, and insurance-related renters with their transportation needs.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional branch.
• Support other location duties as needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, banking, automotive, or rental experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Friendly and professional communication style.
• Ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working with customers and resolving routine concerns.
• Dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Team-oriented approach with a willingness to assist coworkers.

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving history, with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents within the previous three years.
• Employment is subject to successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening.
