Facilities Maintenance Technician

Family-owned property management company seeking an experienced, skilled facilities maintenance technician in all trades. Experience in electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, painting, sprinklers, swamp coolers and troubleshooting skills. This job involves performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs and estimates. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, general handyman repairs on residential and HOA properties.
• Repair or replace defective parts in various systems, including plumbing systems, sprinkler systems, and swamp coolers.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
• Perform minor construction tasks such as carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

• Proven experience in general maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with co-workers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; technical diploma or certification is a plus.
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in a relevant field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
