We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Electrical Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading and interpreting plans, communicating effectively with coworkers, and coordinating with the superintendent and project manager. You should be a critical thinker with expertise in various aspects of electrical work. A successful Journeyman will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and take an active role in mentoring Apprentices.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in new residential construction and remodeling projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and team members to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Mentor and guide Apprentice Electricians, fostering skill development and best practices.
- Assist Journeyman Electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential projects.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams under the guidance of a Journeyman.
- Safely handle tools and materials while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with electrical codes and regulations.
- Actively participate in training and hands‑on learning to develop technical skills.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state‑certified, if applicable).
- Minimum 5 of experience in residential electrical work (new construction and remodeling).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
. - Skilled in troubleshooting and problem‑solving electrical systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and apprentices.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning

- Enrollment in or completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of tools, and safety procedures
. - Ability to follow instructions and learn from experienced Journeyman Electricians.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to develop technical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment and lift heavy materials when necessary.
