Overview
We are seeking an experienced, full-time Maintenance Electrician to join our team. This position focuses on inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining interior and exterior lighting systems at commercial facilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently while delivering quality service to our customers.
Will also help out our commercial/service/residential departments also.
Responsibilities- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial lighting systems.
- Replace lamps, ballasts, LED drivers, fixtures, switches, photocells, and lighting controls.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Perform preventative maintenance on interior and exterior lighting.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair recommendations.
- Operate lifts, ladders, and other equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site.
- Comfortable towing trailers—such as lift trailer and tow behind boom lift.
- Pass a drug test.
- Organization is a must.
- Several years of commercial electrical maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with commercial lighting systems, including LED retrofits and lighting controls.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders and aerial lifts.
