Summary
Responsible for opening and/or closing the facilities, assisting in administering, enforcing rules and regulations, policies, and implementing procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform all opening and closing procedures affiliated with the Lodge, including walking the facility for safety and maintenance issues, inspecting for damages, repairs, and cleanliness, and completing opening/closing checklists.
- Unlock and lock doors, manage alarm settings, control electronic equipment (music, display boards, lights), prepare the front‑desk area and coffee station, input work orders, and check pool and spa water temperatures twice per shift, recording it in the pool/spa log.
- Provide customer service to homeowners and guests: greet all residents and guests, maintain a positive professional demeanor, answer questions about facility use and events, handle resident issues courteously, report concerns to the GM, respond to phone calls, emails and sign‑in logs, keep the front desk tidy, and enforce pool and spa rules.
- Support basic office duties such as photocopying, filing, faxing paperwork, light typing, and record keeping; verify age, property profiles, and directory forms for new homeowners and residents to issue fob access; prepare and distribute incident reports as required.
- Assist the Activities Director with events, excursions, and room reservations, including coordinating Outlook reservations and handling sign‑ups for events, classes, and excursions.
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications; cover shifts when needed; perform room set‑ups/take‑downs for reserved events, clubs, and committees; keep all rooms and outdoor recreation areas neat and clean by pushing chairs, returning glasses, putting games and equipment away, tightening netting on courts, collecting trash, and any other duties assigned to ensure smooth operation.
$19.25 to $20.25 per hour, direct experience highly considered.

Skills- Computer and electronic proficiency:
Word, Excel, Outlook, and e‑mail. - Oral and written communication: clear concise conversations with homeowners, writing basic announcements, superior telephone demeanor, attentive listening, adaptability and firmness when appropriate.
- Public relations, organization, reading, time management.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Language AbilityAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to homeowners, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
Math AbilityAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
