1. Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade. 2. Two (2) years of successful experience in the preparation and serving of large quantities of food; or any combination of training and experience that would likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. 3. A work history demonstrating dependability, reliability, and good attendance. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Must use safety equipment designated for this position.
2. Possession and maintenance of a Food Safety Manager Certificate.
3. Possession and maintenance of a valid State of California Driver's License during the course of employment; have an acceptable driving record; and be insurable at standard rates by the District's insurance carrier and maintain such insurability during the course of employment.
4. Possession and maintenance of a First Aid certificate and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certi
This position is open to MVUSD Classified CURRENT EMPLOYEES ONLY. MVUSD Substitutes and anyone not currently employed by MVUSD is not eligible to apply.
* All positions advertised are contingent upon continued student enrollment. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements of the position noted on the posting.
* Current employees who are permanent in the classifications will be paid their regular hourly rate of pay.
* ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO ACCEPT THE ENTIRE SESSION & attend the paid orientation/training 6/12. SUMMER SCHOOL DAYS CANNOT OVERLAP YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYEE CALENDAR. Summer school positions are temporary assignments and are contingent upon continuing student enrollment. Beginning and ending times are approximate and may be adjusted as needed.
