The Learning Experience
The Learning Experience is seeking qualified individuals for Infant/Toddler or Preschool age Teachers. We are looking for passionate and dedicated teachers committed to helping children learn, play, grow, and thrive and providing the tools they need to succeed academically and emotionally. Expected hours per week: 35 - 40 hours. As a teacher, you will:
- Making TLE a place where learning is fun!
- Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow
- Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
- Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Partner with the daycare center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals to support your center's success.
- Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Job qualifications include having a genuine passion for the education and care of children, one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required), and 12 ECE units, with Infant/Toddler Dev & Care units preferred.
Physical requirements include the ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time, ability to lift up to 40 pounds to support children and various needs in classroom, and ability to bend and squat to interact with children.
Pediatric CPR Certification and Mandated Reporter certification are preferred. Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour.
