Education and/or

Experience:

Valid California teaching credential with EL Authorization (CLAD or BCLAD). Bachelor's degree in education or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of three years of full-time public school service with experience in peer coaching, mentoring, and designing/delivering professional development. Required Licenses and/or Certificates:
If required to operate a vehicle in the performance of duties, operator must possess an appropriate valid California Driver's License and maintain possession of such license during the course of employment;
Have an acceptable driving record;
Must be insurable at standard rates by District's insurance carrier and maintain such insurability during the course of employment.

Under the guidance of the Director of Assessment, the Title III English Language Development (ELD) Instructional Coach (TOSA) will support the improvement of academic achievement and English proficiency for English Learners (ELs) throughout the charter. The position requires expertise in ELD instruction and aims to integrate English language learning into general education classrooms. The role includes coaching, mentoring, and providing professional development to teachers, ensuring compliance with Title III guidelines.
