Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide high-quality private and group lessons in our retail store. In this student-focused role, you'll teach beginner to intermediate musicians, develop personalized lesson plans, and help students select appropriate instruments and materials. You'll collaborate with store staff, support school music programs, and promote recitals and events. The ideal candidate has strong performance or teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and a desire to mentor students in a fun, inclusive, and education-driven retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to beginner and intermediate students
• Develop and adapt lesson plans to support individual student goals and progress
• Prepare students for recitals, performances, and school music activities
• Advise students and families on instrument selection, accessories, and materials
• Collaborate with store staff to support sales, rentals, and educational events
• Maintain accurate student schedules, attendance, and progress notes
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents, students, and school partners
