Personal Banker

Overview

The Person al Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience by adhering to our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. The role focuses on acquiring new and expanding existing relationships with clients, identifying needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring clients to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed.

• Acquire new and expand existing customer relationships by asking questions to identify needs and offering suitable products and services.
• Uncover and originate consumer lending opportunities.
• Provide immediate acknowledgement, identify needs, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Engage clients and prospects in client financial reviews and business financial reviews to uncover additional financial needs.
• Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients.
• Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients, providing proactive solutions and problem resolutions.
• Open Consumer and Business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Support teller functions (including cash transactions) when needed and contribute to the team environment.
• Support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to appropriate internal business partners.
• Resolve client issues and requests with strong follow‑through.
• Build familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities.

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 1 year of teller or other banking experience (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services offered.
• Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
• Accurate handling of cash, balancing accounts and drawers, and performing accurate calculations.
• Proficient in expanding client relationships with emphasis on creating new connections and expanding existing ones.
• Eligibility for Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) is preferred.

Pay range: $18 to $23 per hour, subject to non‑discriminatory factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, details of which will be provided during the recruitment process.
